Where We Are Leading Wireless Standards and Research

InterDigital advocates for wireless standards through leadership in various international organizations, including IEEE, IETF, ETSI, ATIS/NGA and 3GPP. As of 2025, our innovators hold two 3GPP Chair positions, making InterDigital one of the very few companies to hold this honor. Our wireless research projects have brought us into partnership with numerous organizations, both public and private, from the United States government to European 6G initiatives.
